Your Custom Blueprint Based On Your Quiz Results

Ok, so your quiz results are in and you've got a "Resistant" body type and it's not a death sentence for getting back in shape, but it does explain a lot.

But first, based on your answers here's what I think is going on…

You've probably got 20, 30, 40, maybe even 50 pounds that you want to lose mostly around your gut.

The frustrating part is... you're probably not lazy. You're probably just tired.

But the three things that you're doing right now to lose that weight are actually making it harder and in this blueprint I'm gonna show you what to do instead.

—

You already know something feels off, right?

You've cut calories before. You've done the cardio. Maybe you've tried Keto or intermittent fasting or low carb and every time it's the exact same story.

You lose a few pounds in the first week or two, you start thinking "Okay, this is the one"…

And then it stops.

The scale stalls. Or worse... it starts creeping back up… even though you're still doing everything right.

Meanwhile, your belly just sits there. That stubborn ring of fat around your midsection that won't move no matter WHAT you do.

And maybe you've tried hitting the gym even harder and then doing an hour on the treadmill for five, six days a week. Sweating through your shirt creating a pool on the treadmill…

Sounds familiar, right?

And yeah, you are burning calories, but your gut doesn't care. It's not going anywhere.

Or maybe you've cut your food down to almost nothing.

Chicken and salad and skipping meals and grinding through hunger on pure willpower and the scale BARELY moves. But your energy completely crashes and your mood tanks and by Friday night you're face first in some pizza because your body couldn't take it anymore.

And the worst part…

You look at other guys your age who seem to eat whatever they want and still look pretty decent and you're thinking "the hell's wrong with ME?"...

Well... nothing's wrong with you.

But, something IS wrong with your STRATEGY.

Here's what nobody tells guys with this "resistant" body type. Your body doesn't respond to dieting the same way other guys' bodies do when you cut calories too hard.

Your body just doesn't burn fat.

Instead, it panics. And it slows down your metabolism and it holds onto fat tighter. Especially around your belly.

Because, when you do long cardio sessions you're not burning off your gut, you're raising cortisol which tells your body to store even MORE fat in that midsection region.

The second you eat again and when you try to restrict harder and push through it your hormones crash, your cravings spike, and you end up worse off than when you started.

You don't have a willpower or motivation problem…

You have a biology problem.

You've been using strategies designed for guys with FAST metabolisms who just need to clean up their diet a little bit.

That's not you.

YOUR body is wired just a little bit differently and it needs a completely different approach because of that one design specifically for men with this resistant body type.

And that's exactly what I'm going to show you but you need to keep reading.

The thing is, the advice that you've been following made sense on paper, right?

Eat less, move more, burn more than you eat, calories in versus calories out, simple math, right?

Except, your body isn't a calculator.

It's a survival machine.

And when a resistant body type goes in too hard of a deficit your body doesn't just do the math… it hits the breaks.

Your metabolism slows down, your hunger spikes, your fat gets locked in.

Use standard strategies on a resistant body and you hit a wall every. single. time.

So the strategy is wrong and once you fix the strategy EVERYTHING changes fast and I know that because I've spent years figuring out exactly where that wall is and what's on the other side of it.

My name is Dave Brown, I'm a certified personal trainer and former competitive bodybuilder, which means I don't just teach this stuff.

I have to live it.

I can't just get in shape for the summer or an event and then let myself go. I have to practice what I preach and stay lean year-round 365 days a year and over the past 10 years my programs have helped 100's of men like you melt belly fat and get into the best shape of their lives even in their 30's, 40's, and 50's.

And you know the most common feedback I get?

"Why the hell didn't someone tell me about this sooner"…

Or, they're talking about how this is literally the first approach that actually worked for them.

But the thing is, I almost missed out on this strategy I'm about to share with you completely.

My system worked well. And it still works. Plenty of transformations in the books.

But there was always a group of guys who followed the plan just as hard as everyone else (sometimes harder) but still they couldn't break through and they were always the same type of guy…

… the one who showed up every single day, tracked every meal, never missed a workout and often the most disciplined man in the room...

... but the one with the least to show for it.

And I watched it happen over and over.

There's always a fast start and then a sudden stall and then a frustrating rebound.

And every time I gave the same advice.

I said "stay consistent", and "trust the process", but that process was failing them.

I just didn't know it yet because I was so locked into what I believed about fat loss that I couldn't see what was ACTUALLY happening right in front of me.

These guys weren't failing because they lacked effort. They were failing because their bodies were wired differently.

They had this resistant body type and I was giving them the same plan that I gave everyone else.

That's when I stopped reading fitness blogs and started diving deep into science. Peer-reviewed journals. Clinical trials. Metabolic studies from top universities...

And what I found changed everything.

Study after study after study pointed to the same thing…

Guys with this resistant body type who cut calories hard and do more cardio, they don't just stall... their bodies actively fight back.

Their metabolism slows, their cortisol spikes, fat gets locked in tighter. Especially around the belly.

And so it's not that these guys weren't working hard enough, it's that the harder they worked using standard methods, the worse it got.

Their bodies needed a completely different signal.

Not push harder.

Not eat less.

A completely different strategy ENTIRELY.

And, once I found it and started testing it, the results were jaw-dropping.

Guys who had been stuck for years started dropping fat steadily without the grind that had been destroying them...

And not just on the scale...

But in how they carried themselves. How their clothes fit them. How they felt when they woke up in the morning.

And that's when I knew it wasn't just a theory.

This was the missing piece and I'm gonna share it with you right now.

Because, what I'm about to show you are THREE specific changes and they're not extreme.

They're not complicated.

But they are the exact opposite of what most people do and when you make these three changes you will start seeing VISIBLE differences in the mirror within the first couple weeks.

And so I want to break them down for you, and we're going to start with your training.

Because, like I said, most guys trying to get rid of their belly think they just need to do more sets. More exercises. More time grinding it out at the gym…

But here's what actually happens when you do that. Especially as a guy who's past 30 with a resistant body type.

You over train your joints, your energy tanks, and your body responds by holding onto fat even tighter because when you're already in a calorie deficit to lose fat your recovery ability is compromised.

You can't recover from high volume training the way that you could in your 20's. Your body just doesn't bounce back like that anymore and so you end up sore and tired and frustrated, putting in more work for less results.

What actually works is something called "Time Under Tension" or "TUT", where instead of just doing more sets, you actually do fewer sets, but you just slow down the reps. You keep the muscle under tension for 40-60 seconds per set instead of the usual 15 to 20 seconds.

And the reason this matters is because when you do slow down the rep, you create more metabolic stress in the muscle.

More metabolic stress means more muscle fibre recruitment, which is one of the key triggers for muscle growth and MUSCLE is your secret weapon because every pound of lean muscle you carry burns more calories at rest.

It's like upgrading your engine from like a four-banger to a V8.

Your body starts burning through fat even when you're sitting on the couch and studies show that this approach creates MEASURABLY more metabolic stress that drives more muscle growth, often better recovery, and less joint wear and tear than traditional fast, heavy reps and so that 90 minute workout is now 45 minutes.

Five sets becomes three and you get the same or even better muscle building stimulus in LESS time with way less wear and tear on your body.

And here's the part that matters if you've got bad knees or bad back or stiff shoulders; slower reps also means LIGHTER weights.

You don't need to load up a barbell and destroy your joints to get results.

You're creating more stimulus with less weight, which means less joint stress, less injury risk, and honestly, it just feels better.

You walk out of the gym with a nasty, skin-splitting pump and you feel strong instead of broken.

But you can't just slow down any random exercise to any tempo and expect perfect results.

There IS a method to it.

Certain exercises are more optimal than others. Compound movements like squats or rows or presses respond incredibly well because they recruit multiple muscle groups at once and then, like I said, the tempo matters even more.

How fast you lower the weight, how long you pause, how fast you push it back up.

Each phase creates a different growth signal. You get the tempo right and you're building lean muscle and you're boosting your metabolism and you're burning fat all in 45 minutes for maybe 4 or 5 days a week.

But you get it wrong, and you're doing slow reps for no reason, that's why the exact tempo matters for every single exercise and I'll show you exactly how to do that in just a second.

But, training is only one piece of this because you can have the BEST workout plan in the world but if your nutrition is working against you... that belly fat ain't going anywhere.

And so that brings us to secret number two which is where most guys with your resistant body type get completely screwed over.

They go on a diet and cut calories and cut carbs and cut EVERYTHING and... it works for about two weeks... and then the scale stops, your energy crashes, your cravings go through the roof and eventually that guy snaps.

Because NO ONE can live like that forever.

But here's what's actually happening inside your body when you do that — when you cut calories and keep them low.

Day after day your body doesn't just burn fat to make up the difference, it adapts by slowing down.

Your metabolism literally drops to match your intake.

Your body starts producing less T3 (which is your active thyroid hormone) that controls how fast you burn calories, and then Leptin (the hormone that tells your brain that we've got plenty of fuel and to keep burning fat) drops as well and so your metabolism is slower, your hunger is higher, and your body is gripping onto fat like it's preparing for hibernation.

That's why every diet that you've tried hit the same wall.

It's not that those diets were scams (although they could have been) it's that ANY approach that stays restrictive for too long triggers the same shutdown and so the fix is not being PREDICTABLE...

And the way that you do that is something called Carb Cycling, and it's the smartest nutritional strategy I've ever used for myself AND for the guys that I work with and how it works is instead of eating low carb and low calories every single day, you alternate between low carb days with less calories and high carb days with more calories.

On low carb days you're pulling from your body's preferred fuel source; carbs and sugar.

And with those depleted your body has no choice but to tap into stored fat for energy, right?

So you start burning your reserves.

But just before your metabolism catches on and it slows down, we hit it with a high carb day and we call this a "refeed day".

It's not a "cheat day"...

It's strategic.

And that surge of clean carbs sends a signal to your body that says "we're not starving — everything's fine, keep burning fat" and your metabolism fires back up, Leptin surges and T3 rebounds and then right before your body settles into this new normal... you drop carbs again.

And the result is; your body never gets the chance to adapt.

Never gets the chance to slow down.

It just keeps burning and a study from the International Journal of Obesity found that…

"Alternating restriction with refeed days preserved resting metabolic rate and led to greater fat loss than constant dieting"

And another study showed that even a single day of increased carbs reversed declines in t3… keeping your metabolism firing instead of shutting down.

So your body burns fat more effectively when you keep it guessing and what that looks like on your plate is on low carb days you're eating real food that keeps insulin low and fat burning high high fat foods eggs avocado steak salmon Cheese, but then at just the right moment you refeed with clean carbs pasta bread rice potatoes fruit And this isn't in excess, but it's with intention. And so you're not starving.

You're not suffering You're eating foods you actually enjoy and you're losing fat because of how you're timing them and your energy Stabilizes your cravings go away and for the first time in a long time You actually feel like your body is cooperating instead of fighting you at every turn That's the difference between another failed diet and a system that actually works with your biology But nutrition and training are only two pieces of the puzzle, right? There's one more change that kind of ties it all together and i'd say it's the one that most guys completely overlook because if you ever spend an hour on a treadmill or on an elliptical or Jogging around the neighborhood wondering why nothing's changing. This is why long Steady cardio is one of the least effective things a guy with a resistant body type can do for fat loss And I know that sounds crazy You've probably been told your whole life that cardio burns fat, but it doesn't it burns calories big difference and that calorie burn stops Right after you do the second you step off that treadmill that burn drops off a cliff and then it gets really bad because those Long drawn out sessions raise cortisol, which is the same stress hormone that tells your body to store fat around your midsection. And so You're spending an hour on the treadmill burning Few hundred calories and then your body responds by holding on to belly fat even tighter.

You're literally running in place Pun intended and so there's a smarter way and it's called hit high intensity interval training And the reason it works so much better comes down to something called epoch excess post exercise oxygen consumption I know that sounds really complicated. So here's the simple version when you challenge your body with short bursts of focused effort talking 20 to 30 seconds at a time followed by rest you burn through Oxygen faster than your body can keep up and that creates what's called an oxygen deficit Or a debt and like any debt it has to be repaid So after your workout ends your body kicks into overdrive restoring oxygen repairing tissue rebalancing hormones all of which demand energy And where do you think that energy comes from your fat stores? That's the afterburn effect and it keeps your body burning fat for up to 48 hours after you're done not during the workout After it and a study from a top canadian university proved just how powerful this is They took two groups one group did 50 minutes of steady state cardio jogging on the treadmill The other did just 10 minutes of high intensity intervals and the result was same fat loss same aerobic improvements Five times faster So it was way less time way less stress on your body for better results And the part that should get you really excited is if you're out of shape right now This actually works better for you the less conditioned you are The faster your body hits its oxygen threshold, which means you activate that afterburn sooner and your body works even harder To recover and more recovery means more calories burned without more time working out This is a guy who's 50 pounds overweight and hasn't worked out in years He's going to trigger a bigger afterburn response than the fit guy next to him and so for once being Out of shape is actually an advantage and the best part is these are not complicated workouts They're very simple short bursts done in 15 to 20 minutes and you can do them in your living room There's no gym. No equipment No excuses, but not just any workout triggers this effect You do need the right timing the right intervals the right recovery window And so if you miss that signal you'll miss the most optimal burn and that's why the exact timing matters the movements The intervals the rest periods you get it right and that afterburn kicks in and so i'm gonna lay it all out for you In a minute.
